On Thursday 9 October 2025, at Christ’s College School in Finchley, Tony Harms, Funeral Manager for Funeral Partners (East London), representing MM Broads, bravely took on the challenge of a Charity Firewalk in support of the incredible work carried out by the North London Hospice.
After a thorough Health & Safety briefing, Tony joined fellow participants in the school playground, waiting his turn to walk across the hot coals. With flames rising and the heat intensifying, spectators — including Carol Marlow, Funeral Arranger at MM Broads, and Samantha Wraight, Funeral Director at MM Broads — watched with anticipation.
When his moment came, Tony stepped forward with confidence and determination, striding across the fiery path without hesitation. His courage and composure were inspiring to all who witnessed the event.
We at MM Broads, and the entire East London Division, are extremely proud of Tony for taking on this remarkable challenge. His efforts not only demonstrated personal bravery but also helped raise awareness and support for the vital services provided by the North London Hospice.
We look forward to supporting more community events like this in the future.
