In memory of our Mum Betty. The undertakers were excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so caring, kind and professional in everything they did for us. We would like to thank all those involved but especially Rhiannon, Samantha and Sonya the Celebrant. You all eased us through a difficult time and gave Mum a wonderful send off. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Yaren for the incredible care and support she provided during the preparation of my dad's funeral. From the very beginning, Yaren was not only highly professional but also genuinely compassionate, which made all the difference during such an emotional time for our family. Everything she did was accompanied by the warmest, most comforting smile, and I felt completely confident that my father was in excellent hands while he was under her care. Her attention to detail, patience, and constant communication ensured that everything was handled smoothly and with great care.

Yaren went above and beyond to make a difficult process much easier for us, and her kindness truly stood out. We are forever grateful for her warmth and dedication. Thank you, Yaren, for making this challenging time more bearable.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Samantha, our funeral director, for her exceptional care and support on the day of the burial. From start to finish, she was incredibly pleasant, polite, and attentive, ensuring that both my family and I were okay throughout the entire day. Samantha’s gentle and thoughtful approach made an emotionally difficult experience much easier for all of us. Her professionalism, coupled with her kindness, truly stood out, and we are so grateful for her help and presence during this time.

I am so pleased we chose MM Broad & Son to help arrange my father's funeral. Yaren was so helpful and respectful, she made the whole process as painless as possible and managed our expectations with ease. Being relatively young in my twenties, this was the first time I've ever had to deal with organising a funeral, and I had absolutely no idea what to expect.

We were initially going to go ahead with a national funeral director, but after a lack of response from our closest branch, and having seen a majority of negative customer reviews, I'm glad I made the decision to look for a local funeral director.

I decided to carefully search for local funeral directors in Barnet, and I saw the really good reviews for MM Broad. I loved the fact that they said you could call them any time, which shows they value good customer service.

From the start when we first called on a Sunday morning, we got a call back instantly from Samantha acknowledging our voicemail, and we arranged the first initial appointment within a week.

What I really respect about MM Broad is the transparency of their fees and services on their website. From their website we managed to create our own tailored quote, which broke down everything from the burial fees, to the type of coffin to choose, to transport to the cemetery to flowers for the hearse. This meant we knew exactly what to expect and how to plan within our budget, and this helped us throughout our first meeting.

Samantha and Yaren were so kind, friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They kept us updated, allowed us to visit our Mum as many times as we liked, and on the day of my Mum's burial, the whole team helped everything to run smoothly which was a blessing.

Thank you so much to all of you for making what's been one of the most traumatic times in my life, much easier :).

Lorraine was very helpful and supportive, and gave good advice. Unfortunately she wasn't available on the week of the funeral and there were two other people in the office so the donation box didn't get delivered. On the day the whole arrangements were caring and dignified. Steven made sure that the ceremony ran smoothly and that everyone knew what they needed to do. The hearse waited at the crematorium gates for the Honour Guard of athletes to arrive and that was very touching. The family were grateful that the arrangements for viewing the deceased were in keeping with their wishes.

I would highly recommend this business. Especially Lorraine who was so kind and patient with me . Nothing was a problem for her and she really looked after me . As I had come from Australia to visit my mother in hospital I had no idea that I would be organising her funeral….. unfortunately my mother passed away the night before I arrived…… I’ve never organised a funeral before let alone in a different country…. It was beautiful , on time , respectful and dignified. I am very thankful for Lorraine who was so kind to me and mark who looked after me on the day . Regards Nicola kovacs .

i first chose M M Broad eight years ago. As I had been totally satisfied with their service then they were top of my list this November when I had a family bereavement to cope with. Their management had changed so I wanted to be sure the level of service had been maintained. Contacting Lorraine in the office put me at my ease in that respect as I found she had the right mix of gravity and proficiency that I was in need of. My questions were all fully answered, concerns met and advice given. it turned out well, the funeral went as I wanted and the firm will be first on my list again when the time comes.
